Choose Burton Step On snowboard bindings for an intuitive, automatically adjustable fit and experience the ease of a snowboard boot and bindings package. If you’re after the black snowboard / white bindings look, the Burton Re:Flex comes in monotone styles, as well as adjustable forward lean, and a lighter mounting system.

How to choose snowboard bindings

Snowboard bindings should comfortably hold your snowboard boots in place to prevent movement. If you are near the end of a size range, do visit us in one of our six stores nationwide to see what works best for you, as size charts vary from brand to brand. High or low flex ratings, your mount style, highback and baseplate materials, and strap styles are all features you may want to take into account – get in touch with our friendly staff today. For example, carbon fire highback snowboard bindings offer the least weight and most stiffness.

How long do snowboard bindings last?

Snowboard bindings can last anywhere from 50+ days to years, depending on your riding style and consistent maintenance. Many brands including Burton and Union offer a lifetime warranty on the baseplate of the binding.

How to set up bindings on a snowboard

After figuring out whether you have a regular (left foot forward) or goofy (right foot forward) stance, your stance width, and positioning the bindings using your snowboards reference stance, it’s important to adjust your snowboard binding angles for long-term comfort on the mountain. Adjust the angle with the mounting disc. A common beginner set-up for beginners is around -5 degrees on the back foot and +15 degrees or less on the front foot. For freestyle, or for riders wanting to ride switch stance regularly, -5 degrees on the back foot and +15 degrees on the front foot will provide an even, symmetrical setup.
