Butter Goods is a streetwear and skatewear brand based in Perth, Western Australia. Established in 2008 by two friends from Perth, Australia, Garth Mariano and Matt Evans. Garth Mariano, who had been involved in the skateboarding scene in Perth for many years, was the driving force behind the brand's inception, while Matt Evans brought his creative talents and design expertise to the table. Butter Goods draws inspiration from skateboarding and the founders passion for music, developing a brand identity that is uniquely Butter.
Over the years, Butter Goods has collaborated with a number of likeminded brands, artists and skateboarders, creating limited-edition collections and one-of-a-kind products. Some of the notable Butter Goods collaborations include iconic brands Nike SB, Huf Worldwide and DC Shoes, artists including Kevin Lyons and Arswandaru Cahyo and skateboarder and team rider Philly Santosuosso.
In 2023, Butter Goods celebrates 15 years at the forefront of skateboarding culture.
Butter Goods has a established a formidable skateboarding team that includes a group of talented riders from Australia and around the world. Butter Goods team riders past and present include Philly Santosuosso, Kiwi export Casey Foley, Morgan Campbell, Taylor Nawrocki and Alex Schmidt.
In the years since it's inception, Butter Goods has established itself as a global presence through it's high-quality clothing and accessories, as well as its unique, street-inspired designs.
